Old vine Riesling from Cole Ranch, smallest AVA in the U.S. which sits along the Boonville Road high above Ukiah. This colder microclimate combined with the terroir produces Rieslings with wonderful acidity. Picked September 30, followed by a foot tread and a day of skin contact before pressing to two neutral oak puncheons and a single barrel. Fermented on native yeasts in puncheon and aged for nine months stirring the lees every couple weeks tor a rich mouthfeel. The result is a dry, acid driven Riesling with a gorgeous texture.
